Hello! My name is Mariana (or Mary, both are okay!) and I'm a Portuguese freelance illustrator based in the UK.
I enjoy painting characters, animals and environments that transports us to somewhere magical, dream-like and adventurous. Always inspired by nature and fantasy the most, I try to focus less on how real something is and more on how believable it looks. During my free time I love going on calming walks with my dogs, sculpting, reading, playing video games, watching movies, cooking and taking photos of nature.
